Hemp
Hemp is an incredible natural resource. Hemp grows as a weed and is cultivated in many different climates and soils. This makes it one of the most versatile and diversified plants known to exist. Hemp has been used for at least the last 10,000 years!Hemp is cultivated with three main uses for the plants .
Fiber - For centuries the fiber has been used for paper, rope and cloth. Hemp fiber is extremely durable and makes great clothing (levi jeans originally made with hemp).
Seeds - High in protein and very healthy for humans. Hemp protein powder is a great example of hemp seeds in action.
Oil - Hemp oil has stood the test of time as a fuel for lamps and ingredients in soap. Today, hemp oil is used in cooking and can be made into fuel (biodiesel or hemp ethanol)
